I killed the app but still shows Zoom PiP

I’m using Meeting mini widow in the Application, and it works fine. But force-killing the app not removing the mini-meeting window.

SDK version using: 5.12.2.9109
Tested in SDK version: 5.14.5.13410

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Join any meeting.
  2. Click on the back button from the meeting screen to enable the PiP window(mini window)
  3. Minimise the app and remove it from the recent app section
  4. The PiP window is not getting removed.

Smartphone:

  • Device: Xiaomi POCO F1

Thank you for posting in the Zoom Developer Forum – happy to help here. When you hit the minimize the app and remove the mini window from the recent app section, are you logging anything to see if the button is working as expected and do see any errors? Can you share the snippet of code handling removing the PIP window?

We had investigated it and it is a bug from Android Meeting SdK. We’ll fix it on version 5.14.10 which will be released at the end of May.
