Invalid client_id: (4700) error when specific zoom account is accessed

The application is open to the public and most users are not experiencing any problems, but only some users are experiencing errors when approving the integration.


The error content is invalid client_id: (4,700), but the client ID displayed is the correct one. If you access the URL where the error occurs for a specific user with another user, you will be redirected to the approval screen without any problem.

In order to further investigate this for you, can I kindly ask that you share the following with us at

  • Marketplace App’s Client ID
  • Email address of user receiving the error upon authorization
  • The exact install/authorization URL that was used

This will help us to take a closer look.
