Hi @scottypipz,

Thanks for reaching out about this.

Sharing the start_url for a user with another external user would go against our policies. Please consider any start_urls generated under your account to be sensitive credentials that shouldn’t be shared.

If you have further questions about this, don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly at developersupport@zoom.us.

Thanks,
Will

I see…

These external users is a registered user in our system.

The usage would be
A registered user (external user of zoom) will create a webinar. and other registered users will buy this said schedule.

So when the registered user will now host the webinar. the start_url will be given to him/her.

Hi @scottypipz,

When you say registered, do you mean outside of Zoom? If the user belongs to a separate or different Zoom account than the one used to create the meeting/start_url, we don’t advise sharing it.

Thanks,
Will

I see. but can we use it at our own risk?

Hi @scottypipz,

We don’t recommend it. If you have further questions about this or other best practices, don’t hesitate to reach out to developersupport@zoom.us.

Thanks,
Will
