Issue with Webinar Creation and Cloud Recording for Development Testing

Hello Team,

I am trying to create a webinar using my developer account. Is there any way I can check the webinar functionality for development purposes?

Currently, I am encountering the following error:

"code": 200, "message": "Webinar plan is missing. You must subscribe to the webinar plan and enable webinars for this user." (truncated...)

Additionally, I would like to test cloud recording with webinars. Could you guide me on how to achieve this functionality?

Best regards,
Meera Tank

Hi Meera,

Thank you for reaching out.

To use the webinar functionality, you will need to purchase a Webinar License and assign it to the user account you are using for development. Without the license, the webinar-related API features will not be accessible, which is why you’re encountering the error:

"code": 200, "message": "Webinar plan is missing. You must subscribe to the webinar plan and enable webinars for this user."

Once you have the Webinar License, you will also be able to test features like Cloud Recording during your webinars. Ensure that cloud recording is enabled in the Zoom account settings associated with your licensed user.

If you’re developing or testing webinar integrations, having the proper license is crucial to ensure full functionality.

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions!

Best regards,
Naeem Ahmed
