Local Muting and Un-Muting

Can you programmatically mute everyone on a Zoom session except for the pinned user. This would only effect the local Zoom session created by the desktop API. I see methods for muting and unmuting participants in the C# wrapper but it is unclear if this effects all participant’s Zoom sessions or just the local session.

Musing a user (programmatically or via the interface) will affect all participants, and not just the current device. However it’s been a much requested feature for a long time, so be sure to visit the thread below and share your requirements.

Local, per-user/individual volume control in Zoom meetings/webinars/etc

I can’t for the life of me figure out why Zoom Meetings/Webinars have no individual user volume controls in-meeting for all the users on a local control (client side). Zoom is awesome and has many things that other platforms don’t do well, but this one is really lacking, considering there is much more technically-heavy infrastructure and features that Zoom does have and already implements.
