As of just recently, it seems Zoom Rooms (Windows x64) is not passing HMDI audio via Magwell USB capture dongles.
That is: a local or guest computer using HDMI share to share content, the audio from the sharing computer is not heard locally or on the far side.
Using “share.zoom.us” passed audio correctly.
This used to work in the not so distance past.
My best guess is something changed with the newer versions of Zoom rooms?
The Magwell HDMI Capture (and Capture Plus) units are on the latest firmware.
I have tried multiple source computers. I first thought it my be an issue with the Zoom Rooms configured Intel Nucs, but I tested this with another desktop and having the same issue.
Had anyone else encountered this?
Any suggestions?
