Make API didn't load the VTT (Audio transcript) file

I am new to this forum; apologize in advance for any norm violations. I contacted chat support and they referred me here.

I created a Make automation to download my meeting recording files. The intention is to download my recordings and delete them from Zoom’s cloud to save space. The process works: most of the files are identified, downloaded, and deleted.

I noticed that the VTT (Audio transcript) file is still on the Zoom server - it’s the only file not deleted.

The following files were included in the bundle list:
MP4 (active speaker)
MP4 (shared_screen_with_speaker_view)
M4A (audio_only)
JSON (timeline)
MP4 (shared screen)

I was able to download the VTT file manually, but am not sure why the automation didn’t pick it up. Is there a way I can include it in my automation?

Hi Alex,
You will want subscribe to the “Recording Transcript Completed” webhook event. This will notify you when the transcription is ready for download
