I am a 3rd-year Computer Science student at Sami Shamoon College, currently developing my final project called “AttentionAI”. The project is an AI-driven platform for educators that monitors student engagement and attention levels during virtual sessions. To achieve this, I need to access raw video streams to run a custom CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) model for real-time analysis.
The issue: I am trying to create a Video SDK app in the Marketplace to start my development, but the “Video SDK” option is missing from my “Build App” dashboard. I only see “General App”, “Server-to-Server OAuth”, and “Webhook Only”.
Error?
No specific error code. The “Video SDK” card is simply missing from the “Choose your app type” screen in the App Marketplace.
Troubleshooting Routes
-
I have searched the forum and documentation regarding missing SDK options.
-
I have tried logging in and out and clearing browser cache.
-
I checked my account settings to see if there is an activation required, but couldn’t find a way to enable the Video SDK app type.
-
I checked the Zoom sample apps on GitHub but I cannot proceed without the SDK credentials (Key/Secret).
How To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
-
Log in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
-
Click on Develop → Build App.
-
View the available app types.
-
Result: The “Video SDK” app type is not listed among the options.
