MobileRTC version incompatible on join

We understand this is an ongoing issue and puts our customers in a bad spot. We are still working internally to find a solution for this, but I can assure you this issue is not being ignored. We are planning to close the gap between Client and SDK releases as well.

This has crept back up again for us. MobileRTC version is incompatible. Do you have an ETA on an SDK update?

Looks like 5.8 is the new minimum.

We are seeing this issue again because the version the an organization can select for the minimum iOS version required is higher than even the very latest Zoom SDK for iOS version. Is there a Zoom SDK for iOS update imminent? Is there no way to ensure that SDK apps aren’t broken by these settings?

Great question! There is no setting that I am aware of, but I can see the benefit of such a setting. Can you share more details about what you had in mind? I am happy to share your feedback with our engineers for further consideration.
