"notify_registrants" not present in Webinar GET

Related to this comment:

The Settings>notify_registrants property doesn’t appear to be returned in the “Get a Webinar” GET API call. I’m able to successfully update the property, in my UPDATE calls to the database. But, when I try to retreive the updated webinar data, “notify_registrants” is never returned by the API.

Thanks so much for reporting the query behavior you’re seeing, we are investigating this (ZSEE-174362).

Thank you. Just so I can provide a response to my superiors, is there a GENERAL estimate of response time I should expect?
I understand if a development change is required that could take some time to go through your processes. I’m just wondering how long would you recommend us waiting, prior to posting another comment asking you for a progress update.

Hi @FDecDev , we don’t have a dev forum SLA, but right now the engineers for this endpoint are reviewing since we can reproduce. They’re not able to provide an exact time, but I see internally that they have been working on this as of yesterday.

Hello,

Our API Call Logs section isnt working like it used to. The data provided in it is substantially less than a couple of weeks ago. Is this change due to this support ticket?

NOW:

I was also wondering if there is any form of update you could provide on this ticket’s topic? More specifically, we’d just like to know if a solution would be developed for this issue or not.

Thanks again for your time.

Hello @FDecDev I was on holiday, but just saw that the devs for this API shared that this is expected behaviour and notify_registrant field is supported only in request body and not returned in API response. They will correct the documentation and remove it from API response.

However, I am pushing for an API enhancement to have this returned in the response.

Hi @FDecDev

For this, please submit a support ticket via Zoom Support and open a post in App Marketplace given it has to do with the web portal behavior as opposed to APIs themselves.

I don’t understand. If we’re able to set the value, we would logically need to know what the current value is. What is our instruction, regarding using notify_registrant? Just don’t use it?

Hi @FDecDev ,

I hear you and I thought this behavior was in error. However as I mentioned, I am pushing for an API enhancement to have this returned in the response.
