Please enable RTMS backend access for App ID Di_asFugQ9lREdm882oTA

We’ve completed all marketplace configuration for Realtime Media Streams (RTMS) on our General app, but calling startRTMS() from an in-meeting context fails client-side and no webhook fires.

App ID (dev): Di_asFugQ9lREdm882oTA
App type: General app (granular scopes), user-managed

Completed configuration:

  • Scope meeting:read:meeting_transcript added AND granted (verified in the authorized app’s permissions; app removed + reinstalled to force fresh consent).
  • Events meeting.rtms_started / meeting.rtms_stopped / meeting.rtms_interrupted subscribed to our event notification endpoint.
  • startRTMS enabled in the Zoom App surface / JS SDK APIs.
  • Account setting “Share realtime meeting content with apps” is ON for the account hosting the meeting.
  • Developer Pack is active on the account (the RTMS media scopes are selectable, not grayed out).

Symptom:

  • zoomSdk.startRTMS() from an in-meeting context shows the client toast “could not access meeting data”.
  • No meeting.rtms_started webhook is ever delivered to our endpoint (zero traffic).

Based on Zoom Developer Forum threads (e.g. 144063, 144208), this indicates RTMS backend access has not been provisioned for our specific App ID. Could you please enable RTMS backend access for App ID Di_asFugQ9lREdm882oTA? Happy to provide our account ID, account email, and activation date as needed.

Thank you!

HI @bmandeberg ,

To enable RTMS, fill in the form at the bottom of this link. it will then be addressed.

All the best

@bmandeberg could you share when did you activate your developer pack? I want to check on some backend on this.

Meanwhile your account should be enabled now.
