Hey @Frankie_Alvarado,

Please stop deleting and reposting this. If you need to re assign your topic to a different category, simple change the category at the top.

What API are you using?

Thanks,
Tommy

Hi @tommy,

Do apologize.

None of the API’s work. Most of the API’s I’m trying to use are from zConfiguration. I’ve disabled and enabled the feature. Change the password, reinstalling the zoom room.

Thanks,

-Frankie

Hey @Frankie_Alvarado,

Can you checkout this thread:

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks,
Tommy

Hi @tommy,

I’ve already tried that as well. That’s how I came to the conclusion that ZAAPI.exe wasn’t running. The more I test, ZAAPI.exe doesn’t run even when I have the Logitech tap connected and the controller app is fully functional and actually controls the room.

Thanks,

-Frankie

Just noticed something. In the zoom dashboard the zoom room registers the zoom room as a Computer (with Controller) . versus two separate pieces of hardware unlike my other room with an ipad controller. Also, the Logitech Tap is actually an extension of my desktop with the controller software running.

Hey @Frankie_Alvarado,

Have you seen this post as well:

Thanks,
Tommy

Hi @tommy,

Yes, seen that post as well. I disabled the service, reboot, and same result. ZAAPI.exe still not running.

Thanks,

-Frankie

Hey @Frankie_Alvarado,

After speaking with our Zoom Room engineers, want me to ask you the following:

  1. Please let the user to make sure if the ZR-CSAPI is enabled on web portal.

  2. If the ZR-CSAPI is enabled on web portal and the issue still exists , please help to collect some logs.

The path of logs is as below:
C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\ZoomRooms\logs\ for Windows
/Users/xxxx/Library/Logs/zoomRooms/ for Mac

The log files should include zaapi_x.log(if exist) ZoomRooms.exe_x.log
The user can clean logs first, then reproduce this issue, finally collect logs.

If step 1. does not fix the issue, can you please send me the logs.

Thanks,
Tommy

Hey @Frankie_Alvarado,

After investigating the issue with our Zoom Room engineers, currently, ZR-CSAPI is not allowed to run when Zoom Room is connected to Zoom Room Controller.

Thanks,
Tommy
