I’m experiencing a consistent initialization failure with Zoom Meeting SDK v6.2.5 on our Android wearable device application using Production Credentials. The issue began suddenly on March 18th, 2025 - working perfectly in the morning but failing consistently since the afternoon (Japan Standard Time, UTC+9).
We are facing a critical issue as our production credentials have suddenly become unavailable, impacting our services.
The app review was previously approved, and we have also completed the DSA opt-out process.
We would like to understand what the problem is.
We would appreciate support from Zoom staffs and send DM regarding the specific details of the app.
Thank you for your response, @richard.zoom . Yes, the issue itself has been resolved. However, we do not understand the root cause. To prevent similar troubles in the future, we would like to investigate the cause and possible measures. We have continued to reach out regarding this matter through the following ticket.
Thank you for your reply, @kwaku.nyante. I really appreciate your continued support.
Is the backend issue you resolved related to enabling the submit button?
By pressing the submit button, I was able to resolve the SDK error as well.
Was the SDK error also caused by the backend issue?
I would be grateful if you could provide clarification for my understanding of the cause.
Thank you for the compliment. The issue on the backend we were struggling with, but we got it resolved now. There was nothing that could have been done on your end to resolve the issue. If you run into any issues please let us know.
Thanks for sharing the details—this sounds like a serious issue. Since it started suddenly and involves production credentials, it might be related to a backend change or credential access issue on Zoom’s end. Definitely a good call to DM Zoom support with app details. Hopefully they can escalate this quickly.
