Subject: Request to Add Option to Disable Raised Hand Popup in Gallery View
Dear Zoom Support Team,
I would like to request a feature improvement for Zoom on Windows.
When using Gallery View, if a participant raises their hand, a large popup notification appears at the top of the window. This notification overlaps the video tiles of other participants, making it difficult to see whether they have raised their hands as well.
Currently, there is no option in the settings to disable or hide this popup. It would be very helpful to have a toggle option in the settings to:
-
Disable the raised hand popup entirely, or
-
Display it in a less intrusive way (for example, in the Participants panel or as a small icon).
This change would greatly improve usability for meetings and classes with many participants, where visual awareness of raised hands is important.
Thank you for your attention, and I hope you will consider adding this feature in a future update.
Best regards,
[Dmitry]
