I’m working on integrating Zoom RTMS (Realtime Media Streams) to receive live meeting transcripts. Yesterday I was informed that RTMS is enabled for my account under a free trial, but I’m unable to receive any RTMS webhook events.
Current status / symptoms:
My Webhook Event Subscription is configured and working for standard meeting events.
I successfully receive: meeting.started, meeting.ended
I do NOT receive RTMS events at all:
meeting.rtms_started
meeting.rtms_stopped
There are no RTMS event delivery attempts shown in the webhook logs (no 4xx/5xx for RTMS, just nothing).
In the Zoom client, I can enable Closed Captions / Live Transcript and see transcripts normally during the meeting.
In the Zoom Marketplace app configuration, I cannot find any “Real-Time Media Streaming” section (e.g., “Request Access”) and I cannot see RTMS scopes, even after switching from an admin-managed Server-to-Server app to a user-managed OAuth app.
Environment details:
Webhook endpoint: publicly reachable via HTTPS (ngrok) and validated successfully (CRC)
Webhooks: meeting.started and meeting.ended arrive correctly
Testing: meetings hosted within the same account where RTMS trial is enabled

Could you please verify that RTMS access is correctly enabled for my Zoom account AND for my Marketplace app, including the ability to subscribe to and receive RTMS webhook events (meeting.rtms_started / meeting.rtms_stopped) and the related RTMS scopes/features? If there is any additional enablement required on your side (account/app entitlement), I’d appreciate your help enabling it and advising what exact configuration steps I should follow.
Are there any plans to add RTMS feature to Zoom Phone?
We are finding a way to have a partial call recording started and stopped by user, and having the full call recording at the same time. RTMS in ZP would give us a way to have the part of Zoom Phone call audio stream when we need it and save it to our storage.
RTMS was enabled for one of our accounts last year, but it appears to have been deactivated as the scopes are no longer visible. Could you please re-enable RTMS for this account?
We need this for a POC (with potential production rollout) for an application that is used by multiple enterprises.
