RTMS Account Access - How To Get Started

Enable RTMS for account please.

Enablement - please enable RTMS

Here is my request for RTMS.

And, I’m frustrated. Previous request for a RTMS trial led me to Zoom sales team. Sales team said I couldn’t get a trial and need to signup on annual prepaid commitment. So I signed the paperwork but the integration is still not working (RTMS webhooks not available in marketplace setup).

I went back to sales, they created a support ticket for me, support team referred back to sales, sales sent me back to Zoom support, and support closed the ticket and sent me back to these developer forms.

I don’t see options in the Zoom account settings to enable RTMS / real-time. In the developer marketplace, I set up the the event subscription and validated webhook URL, but RTMS event types are not available for meetings and webinars.

It seems like Zoom team needs to enable something for it to work.

Please advise next steps, thank you!

@WimKerkhoff I see that your account is RTMS enabled. Here are the next steps.

You will need to create a General App instead of S2S App on the marketplace. You will be able to

  1. subscribe to the RTMS related webhook
  2. turn on the RTMS related scopes
  3. Add the users to use this RTMS enabled General App

If necessary, you can also turn on autostart in the surface tab within the General App.

Hi Chun! Thanks for the directions. I just deleted the S2S app and rebuilt as General App (Admin-managed). However, under features → Event subscriptions → Event scopes, the RTMS scopes are still not there.

Further…. I’m looking at my Zoom Account settings, under “In Meeting (Advanced)”, but am not seeing any toggles for RTMS or Real-Time Media Streams there.

@WimKerkhoff RTMS scopes are only available at user managed level app.

Okay I’ve switched it; I see the scopes and webhook event types now and enabled RTMS stop/start. I’m receiving the webhooks for meeting/recordings but not for RTMS. What next to check?
