RTMS Development app missing from auto-start picker despite active Developer Pack

Hello Zoom Developer Team,

We are testing Realtime Media Streams (RTMS) with a User-managed General app in Development and are blocked because the app does not appear in Zoom’s auto-start picker.

We have verified the following:

Zoom Developer Pack (Pay As You Go) is active on the account.

The Development app is installed for the intended host user.

Shared Access Permissions is Authorized.

“Share realtime meeting content with apps” is ON at the account level and effective user level.

The Development app has the required RTMS-related scopes, including meeting:read:meeting_audio, rtms:read:rtms_started and rtms:read:rtms_stopped.

The Development RTMS event subscription for started/stopped is enabled.

The integration is using this Development app environment.

Under Features > Access > “Auto-start for Realtime Media Streams (RTMS) apps”, “Start for all meetings users own” is enabled and persists after reload.

The intended meeting host is the same user for whom the app is installed and Shared Access is Authorized.

However, the app does not appear in either of these locations:

Account Settings > Zoom Apps > Choose an app to auto-start

or:

User Settings > Zoom Apps > Choose an app to auto-start

At both levels, the picker effectively contains only “None” / “Add more apps”.

Because the app cannot be selected for auto-start, the expected meeting.rtms_started event never fires through the auto-start path.

Could a Zoom staff member please confirm:

Question 1 - Is RTMS backend access / auto-start eligibility enabled for this Development app/account?

Question 2 - If it is enabled, what exact requirement determines whether a User-managed Development RTMS app appears in “Choose an app to auto-start”?

Question 3 - Does an active Zoom Developer Pack automatically grant this eligibility, or is a separate Zoom-side activation required?

Question 4 - Is there any additional app configuration required specifically for an unpublished Development app to become selectable in the auto-start picker?

We can provide the exact Client ID / App ID and Account ID privately to Zoom staff if needed.

Thank you.

@Coactivy can you try it again? It was necessary to regenerate the authorization URL and add the app again before it shows up on your “Zoom Apps” selection
