Issue:
There is a black rectangular area on the screen sharing that looks like it is actually the list of cameras when you go full screen. It seems changes as people turn off /on the camera.

It looks like the host is using an old version of the Windows Zoom Client. Would that match up with your experience?
I say this because around version 4.6 (I think) Windows used to show those grey boxes when you had the option to hide Zoom windows enabled. Now the windows are entirely invisible.
