SDK polling “mInMeetingService.getInMeetingQAController().isQAEnabled()” always returns false

Hi. i see in earlier posts that the QA/Polling feature is not yet available for custom ui meetings,

“mInMeetingService.getInMeetingQAController().isQAEnabled()” always returns false - still, in the latest SDK
zoom-sdk-android-5.9.6.4777
(no user email login)
Is there a way to implement polls with the SDK? (not REST)
or a forecast for it to be added?

Same question for “Immersive view” - is it can be implemented on custom ui?
Thank you.

Hi @natan, thanks for using our SDK.

Polling is still not supported in the SDK when using a custom meeting UI. Also to be clear, the InMeetingQAController is meant for Q&A, not polling.

Same question for “Immersive view” - is it can be implemented on custom ui?

You could theoretically implement something similar to immersive view in your custom meeting UI, but since the UI is not controlled by the SDK in this mode it is not something that we can provide explicit support for.

Thanks!
