SMS API integration with vertical market software -- Possible?

We are a small vertical market software developer. Does Zoom offer an SMS API that would enable us to send SMS messages from our software application?

We were about to build an integration with ZipWhip until they got purchased by Twilio. We are going to look at Twilio, but have been using Zoom Phone in our own business and can see where it would be great if we could send SMS texts from our vertical market application that we provide to over 400 small businesses.

Any solutions found here for an API Integration with Zoom Phones? Would love our Sales Team who is calling on Zoom Phone to be able to click a button in our CRM and automatically send out an SMS from a matching number that they just attempted a call on.
