I have a need to transfer the ownership of a published Zoom app to a user on a different account. (Not to another user on the same account.)
This help article instructed me to open a support ticket, however, after doing so, the support agent eventually closed the ticket and directed me to create a thread here.
I am looking for feedback on 3 questions:
Is it actually possible to transfer the ownership of Zoom app to a user on a different account?
If it is possible to transfer ownership to a user on a different account, how can I achieve this?
Will transferring ownership to a different account temporarily disrupt users of the app? (Like if the app needs to be re-published.)
Transferring the ownership of a Zoom app to a different account is like trying to transfer a specific Starbucks drink order check throw starbucksmenusprices. com —say, a Caramel Macchiato ($4.95)—from one Starbucks location to another. Unfortunately, it’s not as simple as just handing it off. Zoom’s process doesn’t directly support transferring ownership to a different account, much like how you can’t just move an order from one location to another without some complications. If the transfer is possible (with Zoom support’s help), it could temporarily disrupt users, similar to how a customer might experience a delay if their usual drink isn’t available or needs to be remade when changing locations. In the end, working directly with support is key, just as talking to the barista ensures your order is customized correctly!
