Understand Logic of Zoom Splitting Cloud Recording

Hi Team
We are creating webinars via API’s using our Zoom ISV license and then hosting calls directly on the Zoom client app. Post webinar, we are trying to fetch the recordings from Zoom cloud to our private cloud. We are experiencing issues as we are unaware when the system would generate multiple files as we are currently retrieving just one file.

We are not manually stopping & starting the recording during the call, hence we are not expecting multiple files to be generated but the system is generating multiple files.

We wanted to know, what are the criterias for a cloud recording to be split in multiple files?

@rishab.chodha if you go to the cloud recording settings within your Zoom portal it will list several options of different recording views please see the screenshot below. If you would like to cut down on the number of recordings you can deselect some of these options based upon the view that you would like to end up with. This article will give you more information about the different views.
