"unstable Internet connection failed" but with a stable internet

Description
I am new to zoom. When I have meetings with my colleagues on Zoom using WIFI, whenever I try to speak or turn on my camera, my colleagues cannot hear me and a pop-up saying “your internet connection is unstable” appears. However, I can hear them, see their screen.

Moreover, the issues I mentioned above will not occur in the Zoom webapp so I think It’s not really my connection issues. I also don’t experience any network issues when using other video conferencing software.

When I connect my phone to my windows laptop, and share the internet through USB, the issue disappear, everything goes smoothly.

It is worth mentioning that I search the internet and saw lots of issues like this in different community. But all of them has no solutions.

Which Windows Video SDK version?

  • 6.4.10 (64378)

Troubleshooting Routes

  • uninstall Zoom and install again, failed
  • use different WIFI, failed
  • use different account, failed
  • using different meeting apps, no issues like this occur
  • using webapp, success, but I really wanna know how to fix the issue

Device (please complete the following information):

  • ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA507RE FA507RE
  • Windows 11

Hi @Jackxmk

Wearing my Zoom COmmunity Hat, not developer.

Zoom is a video sharing app and so that means you need a fast conneciton UP as well as down.
You really need a 10mb connection both ways amd this can cause issues for wifi.
Remember that the quality of wifi depends on your distance from the router

WIthin zoom settings you can get stats and also run a test meeting

All the best
