If we do have to resubmit our app for approval
Yes, we require you request an update to your app in order for these changes to be reflected in your app on production. However, for non-functional details like name and update a url, this does not require a full review and is usually quite quick.
- Is the approval process for updating an app different to creating a new app?
Yes, see above.
- What is a typical timeframe from submitting an updated app for approval to when it is reviewed?
Our SLA is 7 business days, but for non-functional updates, this will likely be much quicker.
- Do customers need to reauthorise access once the app is approved?
Yes, upon submitting these updates to your app, it would prompt every user to reauthorize, if they want to use the new features/changes that are part of your update. However, if they do not opt into this update, they can continue using the old version of the app.
