Want to embed zoom meetings, don't need to get a ZAK token- what to do?

Hello, we want to embed zoom meetings on our website. We do not want to start them ourselves- we just want to have the guest join the meeting through our portal. We see this is possible using the JWT token app type, but we also see that this is being deprecated in June. We want to get set up the correct way so we don’t need to migrate again in June.
In order to use embed the SDK we still need an SDK secret and SDK Key. We can get those by creating an Meeting SDK app. We have gone through this process and noticed that there’s a lot of other parts of this application that we won’t be using, including generating the ZAK token from the user’s credentials. We also cannot remove that scope. Our questions for you are:

  1. Do we need to publish a meeting SDK app to get these SDK secrets and keys in order to embed zoom meetings/webinars?
  2. Is there a way to remove the ZAK token scope?

Thank you,
Molly

@withcorridor Hope you will be fine.

 You only need to publish the SDK app when you have to need to start external user’s Zoom meetings from your portal.

 You can’t.
