In Web Client SDK 1.9.5, when trying to turn on/off the camera, there is a delay in the video streaming turning on.

Hey @veer.shrivastav,

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. This is a known issue that we are working to resolve ASAP. The streaming is actually enabled but the preview is not displayed.

In the meantime, you should be able to resize the browser window in order to allow the preview to be displayed.

We did upgrade to 1.9.6. But still, we see a lag when the video is turning on / off.

Hey @veer.shrivastav,

Thank you for testing that out. Another option, that can help with delays when starting or stopping video, is enabling the Web Codecs and SIMD Chrome Origin Trials.

This would allow you to use beta features when your app is running in Chrome which can improve performance. Specifically, Web Codecs should help with issues starting/stopping the video but SIMD will also help with performance on lower end devices
