Web SDK Issue with Corporate Zoom Webinar


When our client creates a webinar/meeting on their corporate account - it works only on Zoom app. Any webinar or meeting they set up comes up with an error (described below) on our Web SDK integration - no users are able to join. On our Mobile, the meetings/webinars work with no issues.

The client had tried to change settings, including audio settings back and forth, but it did not help.

Would like to know how the below problem can be fixed - anything we can do on our side/webinar settings site? If not, what is the reason for it to happen?

Fail to join the meeting > Retry/Ok

Our Console shows: “Not support start or join meeting from web, when you chose Telephony Service Provide as his audio in a meeting.”

To Reproduce(If applicable)
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Find a Corporate Zoom account
Sing into it as a collaborator
Set up “Settings” and “Webinar” as Computer Audio or Telephone + Computer
Schedule a Webinar
Start it
Try to join the webinar embedded into our web platform - see the error above.


Device (please complete the following information):

  • Device: all desktops
  • OS: Catalyna, Windows
  • Browser: Chrome latest version

Additional context
This issue happens with this specific corporate account only (anything they create: meeting or webinar comes up with the error on our side, while works perfectly on Zoom app).

Thank you for your question and welcome to the forum! Looking at the screenshot provided, I can see that you’re using v1.8.0 of the Web SDK. Please check if you’re able to successfully join a meeting when using v1.8.3. If not, please provide the signature that you’re using to make the request.
