Webinar ####### not found or expired

We’re seeing the error “Webinar [1234567890] not found or expired.” when attempting to send a registration to a webinar through the registrant creation endpoint: https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/api-reference/zoom-api/webinars/webinarregistrantcreate.

We can view the upcoming webinar through the Zoom admin.

This seems to be impacting multiple webinars over the past month or so.

“Webinar [1234567890] not found or expired.”

Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. Is it possible this webinar has indeed expired? Please see our guide on meeting/webinar expiration and let me know if this lines up with what you’re seeing:


These are webinars so they would only expire after the end time has passed.

As admin, is there a way through the UI to know if the webinar is considered expired?

I’ve looked at the user’s dashboard and can confirm the webinar does not appear on their upcoming list. I assume this means it is expired?

How can I determine why the webinar expired? It is an upcoming webinar.
