What does ZoomMtg.init isLockBottom do?

Meeting SDK Type and Version
Web 3.1.0

Description
What is the purpose of the ZoomMtg.init isLockBottom parameter. In my testing I can’t see any difference when this is set to true or false.

@tommy Wondering if you could help clarify this? Since 3.1.0 it seems isLockBottom no longer has any effect?

Bumping to try to get this resolved…

I just tested this again using the latest version 3.1.6 and I still can’t see isLockBottom making any difference on any device?

I just tested this again using the latest version 3.6.0 and I still can’t see isLockBottom making any difference on any device?

Still doesn’t seem to make any difference using 3.6.1.

Still unclear what isLockBottom does in 3.7.0.

Still unclear what isLockBottom does in 3.8.0.

Still unclear what isLockBottom does in 3.8.5.

Please see the SDK reference:

Hi @donte.zoom, thanks for your response.

I’m aware of the documentation for isLockBottom but I’m not sure if it’s correct/current as I can’t see any difference in behaviour regardless of whether it’s set to true or false?

Still unclear what isLockBottom does in 3.8.10.

Still unclear what isLockBottom does in 3.9.0.

IsLockedBottom controls whether the toolbar is shown or hidden at the bottom of the Zoom meeting.

Thanks for your response @donte.zoom. I realise isLockBottom is documented to do that, but in my testing I can’t see it make any difference. Can you tell me a device/browser where you can see it make any difference?

@chris-praxhub ,

Can you share a video of what you are seeing on your end? I will test this on my end as well.

Hi @donte.zoom,

I recorded a video showing that isLockBottom doesn’t appear to have any effect.

This feature works as expected, see Zoom Clip:

NOTE: In order to see the tool bar unlocked, you will need to leave the Web page ideal then you should see the toolbar hidden.

Hi @donte.zoom,

Thanks for sharing your video.

Upon further testing I’ve realised that isLockBottom works as expected for meetings but does not appear to have any effect for webinars. The video I shared previously showed the behaviour when joining a webinar.

Is this an expected, undocumented feature?
