What's the impact to the existing scheduled meetings if zoom enable the passsword by default

Per https://techcrunch.com/2020/04/03/zoom-waiting-rooms-default/ it shows zoom will enable password since 4/5/2020. Will it be impacting those scheduled meetings ? From both host and participants perspective?
