When using Zoom Webinar, promoting/demoting to a panelist/attendee requires an audio reconnect

When you get promoted/demoted to panelist/attendee the audio disconnects and you have to reconnect, which is a bit of a pain. This seems to be regression since the security updates earlier this year.

We’re currently running v1.9.0 but I believe it worked (did not require audio reconnect) pre 1.8.5.

Is this something that can be resolved?

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. You’re correct, it sounds like this is related to the audio encryption improvements we made as part of 1.8.5.

If you would like this improvement to be considered for a future release, I recommend posting in the #feature-requests category. That will ensure that our engineering team is able to consider it for a future release.
