Which Zoom Client URL Schemes parameters are required?

This doc does not state which of the parameters are required. The example url in the doc is:

zoommtg://zoom.us/start?confno=123456789&pwd=xxxx

Which doesn’t seem to do anything but just open the Zoom client (I’ve got 5.3.2 installed on Windows 10)

Thanks for reaching out about this. For the URLs in the documentation you’ve shared, the confno parameter is required, and password is required if the meeting has password requirements turned on. In terms of the prefix (zoommtg vs zoomus), this will depend if you’re trying to start/join via desktop or mobile.

I assumed starting a meeting meant it would create a new one with the supplied parameters, is that not the case? Does the meeting need to be created in a prior step before starting?

The meeting will need to be created/scheduled first, before you access via this URL scheme. The URL itself will not generate the meeting.
