Why electron sdk can't support video to 720P?

Description
I found I can’t upgrade video resolution to 720P under electron sdk. I can get 720P with native windows or mac sdk.
I call “Setting_EnableHDVideo({bEnable:true});” after join meeting.
other issue is Electron SDK consumes more CPU usage and Memory usage.

Hi guan_bj,

Thanks for the post. Our Electron SDK could support 720p, if you have the following setting enabled on the web portal:

However, whether it could go up to 720p, it depends on the video size and network quality.

“The Electron SDK consumes more CPU usage and memory usage compare with the native SDKs” – This is related to the Electron framework itself, which is consuming more resources.

Hope this helps. Thanks!

Hi Carson
We have open this setting. same meeting if I use native sdk it’s 720P. I will double check the issue. thanks

Hi Carson
I still can’t get 720p video with electron sdk, only 360P.

Hi guan_bj,

Thanks for the reply. Actually I just get informed that due to the recent booming usage, to ensure seamless video conferencing experience, the video resolution might not be able to be at its highest it could be in the recent period. Pardon the inconvenience caused by this.

Let me know if any questions. Thanks!
