Working with "/" in meeting UUID

I’m having issues making an HTTP Get request that includes uuid as one of the parameters because the uuid has a “/” in its value, thus messing up the value of the HTTP endpoint.

I’m pretty novice in developing, clearly I need some way to escape this character but reassemble it for th request. Has anyone encountered this?
