Zapier Rate Limit Errors for Zoom Webinar Registrations

I’m currently running an automation between Powr Formbuilder and Zoom using Zapier to send webinar registrations to Zoom. Our Powr sign-up form is embedded on our website.

Description
For certain contacts, seemingly at random, the Zoom rate limit error below is triggering and preventing Zapier for passing the webinar registrant from Powr to Zoom. There doesn’t seem to be an explanation for this, as it’s unlikely that these contacts attempted to fill out our Powr registration form 3 times in a day, which is the trigger for the rate limit error as shown below.

“Error message: Halted Exception: You have exceeded the daily rate limit of (3) for Add a webinar registrant API requests for the registrant ( josie@cooperativefund.org (mailto:josie@cooperativefund.org)). You can resume these API requests at GMT 00:00:00.”

Any guidance on what may be happening to trigger the rate limit?

As my opinion
Your Zap may be triggering duplicate registrations for some users, exceeding Zoom’s 3-per-day limit. Investigate:

Zap configuration: Ensure Zap only triggers once per successful form submission.

Powr form: Check for any settings causing duplicate submissions (e.g., form reloading).

User behavior: Consider if users might be accidentally submitting the form multiple times.
