Zoom API - Prevent Double Bookings for Meetings and Webinars

Dear Zoom Support,

Our company utilizes the Zoom API to schedule meetings and webinars. Currently, the system allows scheduling multiple meetings or webinars for the same date and time. Given we can only host one session at a time, this presents a significant risk of double bookings.

Is there a mechanism within the Zoom API to prevent double bookings. Ideally, when a “Create Meeting” or “Create Webinar” API call attempts to schedule a session at an already booked time, the system should return an error message.

This functionality is critical to ensure seamless scheduling and prevent user confusion.

The validation should encompass both meetings and webinars, as we cannot host both simultaneously.
