I am running a pilot of a zoom app with a company. The app is just a functional prototype and does not have sophisticated security tests as of now.
Can you please suggest the easiest way for me to share the app with the client for the pilot, without spending a lot of time on the non-functional aspects?
Is it considered ok for the concerned company to create a zoom account for us in their company account, through which we can privately distribute the app to the relevant accounts in their company?
We are doing a pilot with a company for our app. In general, we don’t want a global distribution. We will run it as a B2B software, would reach out to companies, discuss our offering, and then bring them onboard. Since there are many restrictions in publishing on marketplace, we are planning for a private distribution model, where the company creates a zoom account for us under their org. We can then create the app under their account and allow individuals in their organisation to install.
This is fine, we are ok with this, and if you create the apps on the users’ Zoom accounts and they are not looking to be used externally, they do not need to go through the review process since they will be considered private apps.
