Zoom VDI client poor performance on Windows 10 virtual machine in Azure

multiple customers have reported slow, laggy performance on video calls from their Azure Windows 10 virtual machines. There is a 2 - 3 second lag between voice and video.

Which Desktop Client SDK version?
We have had the customer testing with 3.3.2, 3.3.3, and currently the 5.5.0

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  2. Click on ‘…’
  3. Scroll down to ‘…’
  4. See error

  • Device: Azure VM, multiple SKU/machine types
  • OS: Windows 10, 1909, 2004, 20H2
