Zoom Web SDK 1.9.0 poor performance

Description
Integrated Zoom Web SDK 1.9.0 .

Error
Even though meeting can be launched but has errors
Audio and Video Quality is very poor most of time getting echo
sound, audio keep breaking, video is hanged up
Constant Freezing of Screen
Same problems exists when web sdk 1.8.6 used
Performance of web sdk is not any where near to Zoom Desktop client
Tested on same network with good bandwidth zoom desktop client runs
meeting smoothly but web sdk not even allow to communicate in meeting
only chat features work properly

1.8.6 and 1.9.0 both versions were used with same result
Global CDN versions were used on html page

Device (please complete the following information):

  • Device: desktop pc
  • OS: windows 10
  • Version: 1.9.0/1.8.6
  • Browser:. Chrome and firefox

Additional context
Tested with both Global CDN and China CDN
Test with min 2 participants to 5 participant within meeting both meeting has same problems

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. You’re correct in that the Zoom Desktop Client will provide the best performance. There is a known issue with high cpu usage on the Web SDK.

Currently, the best workaround is to enable SIMD Support as outlined at the bottom of this article:
