Zoom webhook phone not triggered by update

I am encountering with a Webhook-Only app I have created in Zoom. My goal is to capture changes that occur for users’ Zoom phone and extension lines.

Here’s the situation:

  • I’ve added the phone.account_settings_updated event to my webhook app.
  • However, when I update the extension number of a user, no alert is sent.
  • I’ve tested other webhook events, such as updating user information, and they work as expected.

It seems specific to the phone.account_settings_updated event, and I am unable to identify what might be going wrong. Could you please advise if there are additional configurations required for this event or if there are known limitations regarding this use case?

I was able to do some testing on my end and I do not thing the event you are trying to set up, displays the information you are looking for. But I am not able to get the event either, so I will report this internally to see what the issue could be with this event

I have received the event but only when I make changes to the Account Settings, under the Account Management tab > Account settings > Zoom Phone tab.

Unfortunately, updating a user’s extension number is not considered a setting update, so I do not think you would receive the event. So this would be considered as expected behavior
