Apparently it’s not happening to all the system OS that are using Safari 17.5

M1(CPU)/Sonoma 14/ Safari 17.5 (19618.2.12.11.6)
That are not intel based. Was working fine with no issue on audio.

I am going to try to get you guys the detail Safari version on the intel chip based mac.

Hey @kevinlabx

Thank you for sharing your findings regarding the Safari audio issue.

The root cause of this issue is a regression bug introduced in Safari 17.5 by WebKit.

We attempted to fix the issue through some workarounds, but some unknown cases are still not covered.

Another workaround is to specify the audio_compatible_mode field in the JWT to enable an alternative audio solution.

Thanks
Vic

Just for clarification for others. It’s the audio that’s being input from Safari then going to other attendee where sound is all weird messed up.

So attendee who are attending those meeting who are getting input sound from Safari (issued system) will hear gibberish weird sound.

Thank you so much for quick feed back @vic.yang.
Have a good day and keep up the good work.:+1:
