"Build Video SDK" Option Missing for Paid Pro Account with Active CPaaS Plan

Hello all,

I am hoping someone can help me with a critical account issue that is completely blocking my development. I am trying to integrate the Video SDK into my web application, but I am unable to create the necessary app to get my credentials.

My Goal: To create a Video SDK app to get the SDK Key and SDK Secret for generating session JWTs.

My Account Status:

  • I have a paid Zoom Workplace Pro account.

  • My user is correctly assigned the “Licensed” status.

  • I have an active Video SDK Pay As You Go (CPaaS) plan.

The Problem: Despite having the correct paid plan and a licensed user, the “Build Video SDK” option is completely missing from the “Develop” dropdown menu in the App Marketplace. The only options I see are “General App”, “Server-to-Server OAuth”, etc. This prevents me from starting the creation process for a Video SDK app.

Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:

  • I have logged out and back in multiple times.

  • I have confirmed my billing and plans are active.

  • I have confirmed my user is “Licensed”.

  • I have tried submitting support tickets, but they seem to disappear from the system without a response. My attempts to email support have also been unsuccessful.

I seem to be in a catch-22 where I have the correct, active plan but my account has not been provisioned correctly to show the necessary developer options.

Could a Zoom staff member please investigate my account and manually enable the “Build Video SDK” feature? This is a complete blocker for my project, and I have exhausted all other support options.

Firstly, thanks for getting back to me. As for that document, have already been through it.

These are the steps and where I am with them :

Log into the web portal.

  1. Under ADMIN, select Plans and Billing, Plan Management and add a pricing plan to your Zoom Workplace account. :white_check_mark: no problem

  2. Once added, click Advanced, Zoom CPaaS, and Manage next to your Universal Credit product. Zoom displays the SDK account page. :white_check_mark: I can access this.

  3. Click Build App on the web portal. Your SDK build page will open.

    :cross_mark: here is where I have an issue. When I click on build app inside the CPaaS Manage section, it just takes me to the standard build page that you can access through the marketplace, giving me three options :

    What kind of app are you creating

    General App

    Server to Server OAuth App

    **Webhook Only App

    None of these are the option I am trying to get though (the Video SDK )

    Do you have any idea why this is, and how I can solve this problem?

Before you click the Manage button (in step 2). Can you please logout of the Marketplace account. So the steps would be:

  1. Go to https://marketplace.zoom.us/ and logout of the current account.
  2. Go to your Zoom admin profile click Advanced, Zoom CPaaS, and Manage next to your Universal Credit product. Zoom displays the SDK account page.
  3. You should see the Build App option now
