Cannot edit scopes of created Zoom application despite being account/app admin

Description
I have Zoom admin privileges for my organization, and I created two Zoom applications last week and was successfully able to edit its scopes. However, I suddenly do not have the ability to edit these applications.

Error?

“Unable to view app, contact an administrator for access” error popup appears when trying to edit.

Troubleshooting Routes
I have confirmed that I am both the admin of the organization and the admin of the application.

When attempting to create a new application, the Server to Server Oauth option is also grayed out. Do I need to re-enable some setting/permission that got updated?

Thanks in advance.

I wanted to say I have exactly the same symptoms.

If it wasn’t for browser history I wouldn’t be able to get to the infromation page on my server-to-server oauth application.

I escalated to support and was told to look at the checkbox here:

Admin → User Management → Roles → Advanced Features → Zoom for developers → Server-to-server OAuth app

to enable “Edit” permissions.

This usually happens if account-level permissions or role settings were recently changed. Even if you’re the account admin, check Role Management → App Marketplace permissions to ensure you still have “Develop” and “Manage” app rights. If the Server-to-Server OAuth option is greyed out, it may have been disabled by Zoom support or restricted due to an account plan change. You may need to open a support ticket with Zoom to re-enable it.

Hi @stevendeveloper123
Thanks for reaching out to us and I am happy to take a closer look at this issue.
You should not be having this issue since you are an account admin, but I will send you a DM so I can take a closer look at your account
