Can't add users to my app

I have a marketplace app with webhook notification, the events works for my main account, but not for the users i added in my zoom account and I am also not able to add users to my app.

Hello @Sleep_Easy what type of app is this?

Regards, Kwaku

Hi @kwaku.nyante it is a Account-level app for Server-To-Server OAuth and webhook events

Hello,

Can you provide the error your getting when you try to install it?

Regards, Kwaku

I was able to pass the warning errors, but now the button to Add is disabled for the users

Add button is enabled now, but when is pressed I got a message “Redirect URL is required. (4,700)”

Have you added a redirect url to your app, and have you added the urls to the allow list.

Regards, Kwaku

It is a Server-To-Server OAuth, I do not have the option to add the redirect url

What type of user are you trying to have add the app? The account Owner and Or admin should be able to add it but it can only be added once on the account since its an admin account.

The thing is, the app we have created, we need all of our members within our team to automatically have that app on their zoom account. We can’t make everyone an Admin who needs this app. How can we accomplish this?

Hi @kwaku.nyante any solution on this ?

Your only option would be to create a user-level app; server-to-server apps require admin-level accounts to authorize, we cannot change that.

We’ve created our app as a user-level app, but do we need to publish it for it to work for all accounts? We have it “development” mode at the moment, and it’s not working. Also do you know how long it takes to get the app approved for production once submitting it?

And it’s possible to have this app be published but “private” so other people won’t access it ?

Your only option would be an Unlisted app you can read more about it here: App distribution - Zoom Developers

Thank you for all the insight Kwaku! Appreciate your time.

This link also talks about Private apps as well as unlisted. Since we’re only looking to use this app internally, would that be a viable option as well? Also curiuos if the review/approval process for a private (or unlisted) app takes as much time as a public app. We’re up against a deadline and not having done this before, didn’t expect a ~7week approval process…
