Connection time out if host has not started webinar


I’ve just been implementing and testing the client web SDK, I have managed to join webinars fine, however one issue I have noticed is that if the host has not started the webinar the person joining is greeted with a connection timeout message.

Is it possible to put them in a waiting room? If so how is this achieved? Through the webinar settings or when joining the meeting?

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. Currently, webinars do not support placing participants in a waiting room. Instead, you can use the Get Webinar Details Dashboard API to see if a webinar has been started yet.
