“Consent for unmute” quick proposal

can we make this optional with a meeting settings like :

“host can unmute without user permission [YES/NO]”

when a zoom client connect to this kind of meeting they see a red label somewere (like waiting room perasp) that say :

“please note that host can mute and unmute you”
accept and enter or leave the meeting

please, we understand the privacy concern but for the devs who “integrate” their product with zoom we need to have the power to mute and unmute users mic. and video as well.

YES PLEASE. Many others have been requesting the same feature. 5.0.3 decimated our workflow for musical shows and corporate meetings.

Wouldn’t it be good for someone of the feature team, to look in here? Especially as this is where they get the best user advice on issues. Otherwise, tell me what is the point of this user forum?

Please consider bringing the UNMUTE ALL option back. And an option to bypass participants consent to unmute unless participants iniciated the mute.
