Could we register above webinar size?

Hi,

We are running a learning management system using Zoom API. I have a question about webinar size. Webinar size is the number of participants who actually join the webinar? So it means that we could register more than this number?

For example: In our plan, the webinar size is 500. But we could allow 520 registrants, because most of the time, not all registrants will join in the webinar, especially when it is free? If the webinar size is 500, this number has already included host and panelists? These 500 users who registered to webinar could still join the webinar with multi devices?

Hey @dangt,

Correct.

You can read about the webinar limits here:

Thanks @tommy,

Users can join the webinar by multi devices. It seems that there are some cases when users join different devices, I will got multi accounts in the attendance report. So is there any chance that when users join by many different devices will make the webinar full?

Hey @dangt,

This can also happen if attendees leave and re join for various reasons.

Each person or device who is in the webinar counts towards the limit. You can disable attendees joining with multiple devices via the registration settings:

Thanks @tommy,

I am very clear now. You are very helpful
