Description
I am using Zoom windows SDK c# wrapper. When I am in the meeting as a host, I click on Chat for a specific user. The chat window opens but the chat points to Everyone instead of pointing to that particular user.
Which Windows Meeting SDK version?
C# v5.13.5.12103
To Reproduce(If applicable)
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Start meeting as a host
- Add a participant to that meeting.
- When a new participant joins, click on the … icon on their box. The icon is in the top right corner.
- Click on Chat
- The meeting chat window will appear now pointing to Everyone instead of pointing to that particular user.

Hi @anonymousedge03 ,
I’ve managed to do a direct chat with other users (2 different accounts).
Are you able to provide more information?
@chunsiong.zoom I can manually tap on the dropdown button and do a direct message. Did you follow the steps I have written?
Basically, you have to click on the 3 dots button on the user box and then click on chat. Please check the first screenshot and the arrow which is pointing to that option. When I click that option, the chat window should open and “direct message” should be selected by default. Instead “Everyone” is selected by default.
Hi @anonymousedge03
I’ve tried your instructions, starting the meeting as host on c# wrapper
It does changes to direct message
