Enforce meeting duration

When creating a meeting (type 2) with a duration of, for example, 10 minutes (the unit of time is minutes, right?). The meeting is created succesfully, but after the 10 minutes have elapsed nothing happens and the meeting continues as normal.
Is this the expected behavior? Is there any way to “enforce” the duration, or should I implement that logic on my side?

Iam trying to create meeting using POST /users/{userId}/meetings with duration parameter. as written in documentation “Meeting duration (minutes).
