High API Failure Rate Alert

Multiple times per day I get the following email alert:

API failure rate has exceeded 2%

The API failure rate on your Zoom account has reached 2% over the last 24 hours. The issue is potentially affecting your application’s performance and user experience.

See failure details:

  • Total API Failures: 8,754

  • Failure Rate: 7%

  • Time Period: last 7 days

  • APIs Experiencing Failures: /v2/phone/voice_mails/{voicemailId}_GET, /v2/phone/users/{userId}/call_commands_POST, /v2/webinars/{webinarId}_GET, and 23 others.

To resolve the issue, please investigate the root cause of the increased failures and take appropriate actions. You can monitor the API activity on the Marketplace.

View API Dashboard

When I view the API dashboard it looks like this is happening with the “Zoom for Salesforce Lightning – ZP/ZM/ZW.” The logs show the error as Error code: 401 and Error code: 404.

I reached out to support and they said they can’t provide help but from what I can tell it looks like this is related to the Zoom for Salesforce Lightning app.

Does anyone else have any ideas how i can track this down?

I still have not been able to get any help on this issue. Every single day I get an email about the failures.
